The Voluntary Sector has been rocked by a number of high-profile crises in the last few years, including safeguarding incidents, fundraising scandals and financial mismanagement cases. It is more important now than ever that charities have effective crisis management strategies in place to deal with these increasing incidents.

This Improving Crisis Management Across the Voluntary Sector course will provide you with expert guidance on implementing effective risk management and ensuring robust crisis management and communication strategies are in place.

  • Understanding the importance of risk management, particularly in light of recent high-risk incidents across the voluntary sector, such as safeguarding failures, fraud and unethical fundraising techniques
