Lead Policy and Research Analyst - HESA

I am a Lead Policy & Research Analyst for the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) leading the HE-BCI major review – an 18-month project with an aim of identifying users’ needs for data on interactions between the HE sector and the businesses and communities they work with. This will help to inform appropriate output objectives, concepts of interest, and identify the availability of externally sourced data.

Having initially joined HESA in 2017 I led the management of the Higher Education – Business and Community Interaction (HE-BCI) data collection. Additionally, I managed the implementation of the new General Medical Council data collection and have worked as an SME within the Data Futures Specification team contributing to collection and systems design.

I hold a BA Hons. in Sociology and English from Oxford Brookes, and an MA in Social Research Methods (Social Policy) from Durham University.
