Widening Participation Conference 2022

08 Dec, 2022 8:45 am - 4:00 pm

Etc Venues Marble Arch

Overview

The Widening Participation Conference 2022 will explore the next steps in delivering high quality interventions and outreach for disadvantaged students accessing and progressing through higher education. The Conference will examine how evidence-led interventions can be maximised, the future of school partnerships and raising attainment and how the sector can prepare for the new OfS approach to Access and Participation Plans.

The Conference comes at a critical time with the OfS introducing its new B3 numerical thresholds, the Department for Education announcing student number controls and minimum eligibility requirements and the Social Mobility Commission launching its new Index on outcomes.

What to Expect

  • Keynote update from the Social Mobility Commission

  • The latest assessment of evidence development from TASO
